Parma Ham "Made Green in Italy"

Devodier Prosciutti is honored to announce that it is the first ham producer in Italy to obtain the "MADE GREEN IN ITALY"certification for its Parma Ham by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security. The "Made Green in Italy" scheme is an environmental certification introduced by the Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security based on the European PEF Regulation (Product Environmental Footprint). This mark aims to promote and recognize Italian products that meet high environmental sustainability criteria.. The "Made Green in Italy" certification is based on an assessment of the product's environmental footprint considering the entire lifecycle from production to disposal, following an LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) methodology defined by the European Commission. Devodier Prosciutti has completed the entire process to obtain the Made Green in Italy mark issued by the Ministry of Environment and Energy Security. The product under study is Devodier Parma Ham in its three main presentation formats – bone-in, deboned, and pre-sliced in trays.
