Casalini S.r.l. is specialized in the production of confectionery bakery products.: it was established in 1978 from the experience of Casalini family, which for over forty years has been passionately developing this activity, making soft sponge cake, plumcakes, naturally leavened and shortbread products. Nowadays the Company can offer a complete range of products.
Producing a complete range does not only mean bringing a wide range of tasty products to the shelves, but also transforming each snack, every croissant, and every cookie into high quality standard food. All Midi products are free of hydrogenated fats and GMO ingredients and are constantly subiected to numerous and strict checks, inside and outside the production plants.
High technology is materialized in all processes and production plants. Finally, thanks to the important certifications achieved (BRC certification and IFS Food), Midi guarantees maximum responsibility towards consumers, following the rules and quality standards of the food industry.
Finally, thanks to the certification issued by RFA, Lazzaroni contributes to the sustainable cultivation of cocoa.
In year 2013 the same Casalini family achieved/absorbed D. Lazzaroni & C. offering traditional assorted confectionery products, a range of biscuits and shortbreads for breakfast and fine pastries along with gluten-free and no added sugar assortment .
The company’s avant-garde activities concentrate in the Abruzzo plant of Isola del Gran Sasso (Teramo), in Gran Sasso Area; the latter is the protagonist of the new industrial 4.0 production paradigm, between automatism and digitalization. The handmade tradition is combined with new technologies, always seeking excellence . Even today, all the biscuits are produced according to the rules of classical tradition, following centuries-old recipes. The company has always paid great attention to the production of biscuits, pastries,. ; new technologies are well suited to historical recipes, handed down from 1888. A winning combination that gives the Lazzaroni products taste, quality and tradition. For several years, Lazzaroni quality level has been guaranteed by strict tests based on the Food Safety requirements of IFS and BRC International Standards. Furthermore, the company has obtained the certification issued by the Italian Celiac Association for the production of gluten-free biscuits
